One HAIL of a storm

Just a typical Wendsday summer afternoon
Then all holy Hell broke loose
The sky opened up and spewed this
It only took 15 minutes
It came fast, hard and furiuos
Quarter size HAIL
Ripping through my yard
Leaving this
Keep in mind ,it's summer, Not fall
The horse corral was a mess!
She took it so well
The entire yard was a wreck. Flowers flattened, leaves and
twigs everwhere. After two more days of rain and clouds
I began the task of cleaning up.Will post cleanup tomarrow,
If I get it all done

The Last Post This Year

Yeah, I know, it's only the third post this year, but it's still the last (maybe)

Nevada is doing very well in her training with us. We can halter her whenever we want or need. She has been leading in new areas in the yard (near the road) and doing so without much fear although always cautious.

We still have a long way to go before the first ride with her. Will start intro to saddle blanket, and saddle soon with hopes of the first ride in early spring. The BLM Wild Mustang and Burrow auction comes to Lexington in late March. We have been considering a second Mustang for myself. Long term goal, trail rides on the mountain together.

Went to see the grandkids and kids the day after X-Mas.As the kids say HO HO came again. They had some leftover snow and ice but melted quickly while we were there.

As you can see all is well!! HAPPY NEW YEAR !!
